After an enforced hiatus, Rebellion was back in fine form for 2022

Rebellion, baby! It was good to be back in Blackpool. There were some niggles and it didn’t feel quite the well oiled machine it has been in previous years. A new security firm and some queuing issues need attention.

But, we’re not really here to complain, even though it is only right to set some markers.

As per usual, 300 bands over 4 days and pretty much every one being on stage bang on time. The logistics are simply mind-blowing and that it keeps on going day after day is a testament to the organisers.

And then, of course, the music. Picking a favourite is like choosing a favourite child. So we won’t even try. We’ll just be thankful for what we had, which was a brilliant, if hard work, weekend.
