QU A RR Y is breaking the normal and this marathon proved it. Happy First Birthday.
It was always going to be tough. A 13 hour gig is a more than just a marathon and we knew there was no chance we’d still be there at 4am. Those days are long gone, even if they ever existed.
So we got out while we were still winning. With apologies to the bands we didn’t see, we had a cracking time, but the chicken fried rice was beckoning as the evening went on.
Fair play to Mossley Hillbillies who were on stage as we walked in. It was an early slot for them, but they gave it everything. They sound exactly as their name suggests!
The always fantastic Beija Flo and Claire Welles. Joel C Murray who knows how to hit a drum or two. The magnificent Ostrich and then Tits Up who sealed off our evening with glorious shouty punk. Perfect.
