Flares out for this one. It was special and a contender for the gig of the year. Yeah, we know it’s still February, but here we go.

We have a tendency to eulogise. So, forgive the over enthusiasm, but we’re betting (and we don’t bet) there will be few better gigs than this one for the rest of the year. As a double header with Mexican Dogs and Tony Steele & The Massacre sharing top billing, this was a fantastic evening.

It was a proper “were you there?” moment. Seriously, it was that good. Mexican Dogs are going places. Get your flares out, because you’ll need them.

And with a cracking support from Murmurs to add into the mix, this was an utterly superb gig and those who were there could feel the groove. You could touch and feel it.
