Atlas For Home have been quiet for a while, but the Parisians (nearly) are coming back out of the woodwork with new material for 2022 and it’s well worth your time.
French pop / punks Atlas For Home grabbed our ears a little while ago with the news they have a new single , Keep Going, and accompanying video out now and a forthcoming EP in the wings.
It’s been a while coming and is the band’s first release for more than four years.
With 2 EPs, More Than a Year in 2014 and Late Bloomer in 2018 and many shows in Europe alongside bands like State Champs, Four Year Strong and Judah & the Lion, Atlas for Home is back in 2022 with Keep Going.
You should check out more French pop / punk – there’s some seriously good stuff going down over there (and some on these pages as well).
It seemed like an ideal time to hit them with our 13 Questions:

P3dro: Where are you and what are you doing?
We are Atlas for Home, a French pop-punk band. We live in France (obviously) in the Paris suburbs. It’s like we are almost Parisian ahah.
P3dro: What is your favourite view?
Mountainside. It as beautiful as intimidating.
P3dro: What is your favourite swear word and why?
Merde (shit in French). I use it way too much but it feels great to be honest.
P3dro: What was the first record / cd you bought with your own money?
‘Minutes to Midnight’ by Linkin Park. Before that I used to buy fake CDs for a few bucks to some friends.
P3dro: Marmite. Yes, or no?
Not sure it’s legal in France ahah! I’d say maybe?
P3dro: If you could go to a gig right now, anywhere in the world, which band would you see? And in which venue?
100% Turnstile. We’re so mind blown by their new album ‘Glow On’ and I’d like to see them anywhere, as long as I can see them.

P3dro: Who are your musical influences?
We grew up with pop-punk and it still lives in me. I also like French pop artists and different kind of emo styles.
P3dro: How do you like your eggs?
Cooked ahah
P3dro: Tell us something we don’t know.
Our new song ‘Keep Going’ was created 3 years ago but we were stuck with the lyric part. I finally managed to find something I liked a few weeks ago and we’re now very proud of this song.
P3dro: Which city do you recommend we visit – and why?
Paris has so many different places and atmospheres to share, it’s not that original but it’s something that should be seen at least once in a lifetime.
P3dro: What’s your drink of choice?
Coffee all the way. Best drink on earth.
P3dro: What band or album do you think we should check out right now?
All the French rock/pop punk scene is so amazing it deserves more attention : mirabelle., Back On Earth, Two Trains Left, Storm Orchestra, Hawkins… you have a lot to discover here!
P3dro: Do you have anything else to declare?
Thanks for having us, feel free to check our songs on your favourite streaming platforms and YouTube.
Fromage (cheese in French), AFH.
