Here’s the first of our images from Friday’s happenings at Positive Vibration in the Baltic Triangle

Ruts DC, Asian Dub Foundation and Jah Wobble all delivered fantastic sets in Friday’s opener to Positive Vibration. It wasn’t exactly a gentle ease into proceedings either with all three hitting their punk groove rather than chilled out reggae. And all the better for it. Maybe we needed a bit of a shock to the system!

But, first we stopped by the new Bob Marley statue, the latest addition to the Baltic Plinth and a superb sculpture by Andrew Edwards.
